Old Gods I (18x24)
$25.00
Give your room, studio, or garage some old-school cool with this propaganda-style poster printed on museum-grade matte paper.
A little history about this face...
In the 1930s, Cleveland erected statues to symbolize the city’s power and industrial progress. Almost 100 years later, the city’s “guardians,” fashioned in the style of Greek Gods, stare out like vengeful and forgotten deities.
Old Gods I is a stylized reinterpretation of a guardian. The green symbolizes Lake Erie. In the 1960s, the great lake was declared dead by the EPA. Today, that lake still flourishes in defiance of the cities that killed it.
