Old Gods II (18x24)
Give your room, studio, or garage some old-school cool with this propaganda-style poster printed on museum-grade paper.
Some history about this face...
In the 1930s, Cleveland erected statues to symbolize the city’s power and industrial progress. 100 years later, the city’s “guardians,” fashioned in the style of Greek Gods, stare out like sad and forgotten deities.
Old Gods II is a stylized reinterpretation of Cleveland’s most famous guardians, the ones you see while gazing at the city’s baseball stadium. The red symbolizes fire. The element that made Cleveland the 5th largest city in America at its height. The same fire that blotted out its sun, killed its lake, and crawled across the Cuyahoga.
